Eco Travel Network experiment in Cornwall

Twizy in Poldark Country

Twizy in Poldark Country

Last week, we transported one of our Twizy fleet, Torquil, down to Penzance where he is going to be spending the summer.

Our loanee, Edward, is  using him to get around the neighbouring villages and to and from the shops and railway station. At the same time, he is exploring if there is interest among tourism businesses in the Penwith area of Cornwall in using and hiring Twizys and possibly setting up an Eco Travel style Network.

Watch this space for further developments or, if you are based in Penwith and interested in trying a Twizy, give us a shout and we’ll put you in touch with our Cornish colleague.

If you live in Cornwall and are interested in learning more about the potential of electric vehicles in general, then we strongly recommend you contact Matt Trevaskis at Ecodrive in Redruth who will be able to talk you through all the pros and cons.
